Every supplier climbs a six-step trust ladder, and each step shows the date, verifier, and method behind it. No paid badges, just proof you can check.
10.9452°N 106.8246°E · 2026-05-18 09:32 ICTMarketplaces carry roughly two million Vietnam listings, and none of them can tell you whether the company behind one is a real factory or a trading shell wearing a factory's name. Under the 2026 enforcement regime, a wrong guess carries a 40% penalty. The trust ladder replaces guessing with evidence.

Every tier is built to answer a question you can't answer from a listing:
One question runs alongside all of it: can this supplier prove the product is genuinely made in Vietnam? That one belongs to the Saola Origin badge, covered below.
Six steps, each one more evidence than the last. A supplier shows exactly the tier its evidence supports, and its entity type is always labeled.
Every tier displays its evidence date, verifier, and method. Any number a tier cites comes from a public source.
Climbing the trust ladder proves a factory is real and capable. The ORIGIN-READY badge answers a different 2026 question: can this supplier prove the product is genuinely made in Vietnam? It is earned separately, from a bill-of-materials input map, a value-add assessment against CBP's substantial-transformation criteria, and photographic process evidence.
That a supplier has assembled real, dated, buyer-shareable evidence of where its inputs come from and how much value is added in Vietnam: exactly the evidence a compliance team needs to make a documented decision.
Saola provides evidence and risk assessment, not a guaranteed customs outcome or a legal origin ruling. We say "verified," "evidence," and "assessment," not "guaranteed" or "certified compliant." The decision, and the ruling, stay with you and your counsel.

A badge is only as good as the person who earned it. Saola's verifiers are native, Vietnam-based specialists who can walk a production line in Biên Hòa, read a certificate of origin in Vietnamese, and tell a working factory from a staged one. That local presence is the one thing no marketplace or remote AI can copy. As we put it internally:
"AI everywhere inside; humans at the factory gate; evidence in the graph."
It's also what makes the model work. A local field day costs a fraction of a branded audit man-day, which independent firms publicly price around $398, so we collect first-hand evidence at a scale per-event inspection firms can't match. AI handles the translation, extraction, and dossier drafting. The result is evidence-grade verification without audit-firm prices.
Relationships open doors in Vietnam, but they never buy a tier. These controls keep the evidence honest.
Verifiers are rotated across suppliers so no single relationship owns a record.
Our policy is written and simple: no cash, no gifts, no tricks. Every visit is logged against it.
Every photo, video, and document is uploaded raw and hash-stamped before any editing — so the original can always be checked.
sha256: a7f3…A random sample of records is independently re-verified by a second verifier. Discrepancies trigger review, not a quiet edit.
Who introduced whom is logged as a relationship, and deliberately excluded from tier scoring. A family introduction opens a door; it never adds a single tier point.
Your photos and documents stay yours, and are shared only with your consent. Verification opens doors. It never buys a badge.
A factory that was real last year might have changed owners, lost a certificate, or moved a line this year. So tiers don't last forever. Field tiers (S2 through S5) are re-verified every 12 to 18 months, and every badge shows the date its evidence was collected. If a tier is overdue, you see that too. Stale evidence is labeled stale, never quietly presented as current.
